This is my second time around taking the Part 107 recurrent test. I BARELY passed the initial test (low 70%). I did better on the recurrent test (low 80% ) but really wanted to brush up on airspace and become 100% confidant. While some previous courses attempted to explain these concepts, it wasn't until John's CRYSTAL CLEAR videos and 3D explanation did everything finally CLICK! I was super confidant going into the test that I would not have ANY issues on questions relating to charts, maps and airspace. And sure enough: I aced those questions at 100%. My overall score was 95% and there is no way I could have done that without the course. Not only did it help me pass the test to remain legal in Part 107 (which is a great thing), more importantly I finally feel like I can read a sectional chart and know exactly what is going on and not have to rely on an app. Money very well spent.

I was already a member of another popular full course but I felt like I needed something more and luckily I came across this lesson! I felt like I was going to fail my recurrent test because the other course knowledge wasn't sticking very well in my brain. Where I live, in a small town, there just aren't any real need to utilize much of the information so after two years I had pretty much forgotten all of it. And now it was testing time again! I listened to John Peltier's lesson the very morning of my recurrent Part 107 test and because of that I passed with a 93%!! Mr. Peltier's way of teaching resonates well. He is thorough and an excellent teacher who goes over things in a way that actually made it fun to learn and to be tested. And... I felt like the lesson was a lot more knowledge than I expected. High value for the money. I'm sure that his full course is even better. Very highly recommended if you want to feel confident getting tested. Took away all my fears and worries because I sat down at the test feeling "I'm ready, let's do this!"

Good marks for videos and questions. I wish there were more than 5 questions or that they would be different when taken a second time. Overall 4 out 5 stars.

FAA-Certified Flight Instructor John Peltier

I have a unique background in education that started in the U.S. Air Force, where I flew F-15Es for nearly ten years. I've logged 114 Close Air Support combat missions during two deployments to Afghanistan, flew security for three different presidents and one space shuttle launch, and was an instructor in a training squadron during my final three years. My last job as an instructor was overseeing academic material for all F-15E training squadrons throughout the USAF.

I continued life as a flight instructor after the Air Force, this time in helicopters at home in beautiful Lake Tahoe, where I also flew tours.
I eventually took my professional photography full-time but continued flying as a UAS pilot for Search and Rescue, also teaching sheriff's deputies and SAR volunteers in getting FAA Part 107 certification. I've brought that curriculum - and my military & civilian instructor experience - to these online courses.
